TEST CELL

We have built a TESTCELL as a real room 3.6m x 4.8 x 3.0m high according to Australian Standard Construction with R 2.0 batt insulation. This TESTCELL room features a 7.5m2 clear double-insulated glass - NORTH - facing unit, to commercial grade.


Our TESTCELL is equipped with ASHRAE-55 (ISO 7730) Comfort Carts, Heat Flux Meters, Air Velocity Metering, Air Temperature Stratification strings, Ventilation Air Change Rate monitoring as well as Thermal Imaging Cameras.


We are prepared for full product testing from a thermal comfort and energy efficiency evaluation standpoint. Our TESTCELL allows us to develop new products as well as control systems for them.

Our renewable energy solution harnesses the energy of Solar PV panels, efficiently storing generated electricity in batteries and generating conditioned water to thermal storage tanks. This system provides, hot domestic water and conditioning by our innovative heat pump using renewable energy

 

By optimizing energy storage and utilization, we aim to create fully grid-independent environments.

Environmental Service Pod

The ESP (Environmental Service Pod) is the first attempt of its kind to consolidate all the required energy services into one system that is modularised and can easily be installed in both existing and pre-existing homes.

This example Off-Grid capability ESP consists these six modules:

•MODBUS control

•LiFe PO4  7.5kW  battery

•48V DC polyvalent heat pump

•5kW Inverter / Charger

•220 ltr Hot water storage

•220 ltr Cold water storage

The ESP provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water for a conditioned and personally customised environment that can be monitored in real-time. Battery storage to power home appliances and our custom Heat Pump are also included making the ESP an all-in-one building services solution.

Consolidation is more energy efficient than running all the components independent of each other and the ESP capitalizes on these synergies. Each component of the ESP has been carefully designed and tested to ensure optimal efficiency with minimal energy and exergy wastage.

The Environmental Service Pod provides a consolidation of building service energy requirements to a project. 

 

It is modular in concept and design. Individual components are prefabricated and ready for simplified hookup upon site delivery.

Consuming electrical input at an average Coefficient of Performance (COP) ratio of 4:1  

 

HOWEVER, this is a polyvalent heat pump and generates heating and cooling simultaneously!  

 

This is NOT accounted for in regulation testing, implying an efficient COP of 7:1, when considering BOTH outputs.
